The Silent Truth: A Noir Mystery You Can Play

Written by Romina Massa | Feb 26, 2025 12:06:33 PM

The city never sleeps, but some things are meant to stay in the dark.

You've seen the headlines. Scandals, cover-ups, missing people. But the truth? The real truth? It’s never what they print in the papers.

And now, it's up to you to uncover it.

🕵️‍♂️ Step into the shadows of a noir detective mystery where every clue matters and every choice takes you deeper into a case that isn’t just a game; it’s a lesson in human rights.

From Digital Marketing to Digital Mysteries

When I started learning to code, I never imagined I’d end up building a noir detective game like the ones I used to play on chunky PCs when I was a kid in the early 90s. My journey into AI and coding was driven by curiosity, optimization, and problem-solving, something I’ve always loved in marketing, MarTech, and strategy. But when I realized that interactive content could be a powerful tool for education, the idea clicked.

I became a certified human rights consultant because I want to make an impact in my way, peacefully, through genuine human connection. But how do you make people care about human rights in a world flooded with content? You make it personal. You make it engaging. You make it a game.

Making the Most of My "Between Jobs" Era

Since November, I’ve been searching for the right job; not just any job, but one that truly aligns with my skills, passions, and values. And in that time, I’ve refused to let this transition be passive. Instead, I’ve turned it into a period of massive growth.

I’ve earned certifications in digital marketing and prompt engineering, expanded my AI skills, and gained firsthand experience from 25 interviews, each teaching me something new. And along the way, something unexpected happened: I landed my first client for interactive, custom-coded content. What started as an exploration of AI and coding has now become a tangible skill I can offer.

Now, I’m nearing the finish line of my job search, bringing with me not just my expertise in digital marketing and human rights, which translates to advocacy, but a whole new skill set I never expected to monetize. And now I built a game that lets you step into a noir mystery that will take you back in time. Why not make learning about human rights a little more fun?

Why a Game About Human Rights?

Learning should be immersive. Storytelling is how we connect. Some truths are easier to grasp when you experience them.

This game takes you back to the old-school text-based adventures we grew up playing on desktop PCs. It’s nostalgic, interactive, and thought-provoking. And as you follow the clues, you’ll uncover more than just a mystery—you’ll uncover real human rights challenges in the storyline.

Play the Game & See If You Can Solve the Case

If you’ve ever dreamed of being a detective, if you love a good mystery, or if you just want to experience a fresh way to learn about human rights, this game is for you.

🔍 Will you crack the case, or will the silent truth stay buried?
